Cataract Self Test

  1. Do you have cloudy, blurred, foggy, filmy or dim vision?

  2. Do you have problems with night vision such as glare from oncoming headlights?

  3. Do you have sensitivity to light and glare during the day?

  4. Do you see "halos" around lights?

  5. Are you experiencing frequent or sudden changes in your eyeglass prescription?

  6. Do you notice fading or yellowing of colors?

  7. Are you experiencing double vision, especially in just one eye?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you may have cataracts.

It is important to make an appointment for an eye exam if you notice any changes in your vision. If you develop sudden vision changes, such as double vision or blurriness, see your doctor right away.
